San Jose Episcopal Day School is proud to offer a variety of extracurricular athletic programs including basketball, cheerleading, volleyball, flag football, and soccer. These league teams compete in the North Florida Independent School Athletic Conference (NFISAC).

Basketball is open to Junior Varsity Boys (third and fourth grades), Varsity Boys (fourth through sixth grades), and Girls (third through sixth grades) teams. The regular season includes six to eight games, with each team typically playing one game and holding one practice per week. Following the season, all teams participate in a postseason tournament. Tournament games are scheduled based on regular season standings and may take place in a back-to-back single-day format, spread over two days, or a combination of both.

The SJEDS cheerleading squad boosts school spirit with lively chants, choreographed dances, and colorful run-through banners for our athletic teams. Squad members practice once a week and cheer at one or two home basketball games each season. Participation is open to girls in kindergarten through third grade.

Squad members practice once a week and bring energy to pep rallies, JV and Varsity basketball games, and all home playoff games when applicable. Participation is open to students in kindergarten through second grade.
