Vision Screening

Description: Vision Screening at SJEDS is done in through a partnership  with Vision Is Priceless Council (VIP).  The purpose is to provide free eye exams to the students of SJEDS.

Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteers work the day of the screening (all students are screened in 1 day).  There are no meetings to attend and the event is completed prior to lunch.  Volunteers are gathered through the PA at the Volunteer Brunch and from the summer packets.  In choosing volunteers it is helpful to choose returning and new parents and ideally a representation of parents from each grade level. Event requires 10 volunteers in addition to the chair and co-chair.
