The SJEDS Parents’ Association is a non-profit association whose objectives are:

  • To advance the goals of San Jose Episcopal Day School.
  • To develop and implement programs designed for the enrichment and economic growth of San Jose Episcopal Day School.
  • To support a program of the highest standards of teaching and learning.
  • To cultivate a spirit of cordiality and fellowship among the parents of San Jose Episcopal Day School.

All parents and guardians of students of San Jose Episcopal Day School are active members of the Parents’ Association.  An elected Executive Board and an appointed Board of Directors manage the affairs of the Parents’ Association.  The Executive Board consists of a President, a Vice-President/President-Elect, Vice President of Homeroom activities, a Vice-President of Communications, a Vice-President of Special Projects, a Recording Secretary, a Treasurer and Historian.  A member must have served at least one full school year on the Board of Directors of the Parents’ Association to be eligible for election as an officer of the Parents’ Association.  The Board of Directors is composed of the chairman and co-chairman (if applicable) of all standing and special committees.  Each chairman reports the progress of her committee at a monthly meeting of the Parents’ Association.

The strengths of the SJEDS Parents’ Association lie in the enthusiasm and participation of the parents.  The dedicated parents strive to provide an environment that will nurture lifelong spiritual, academic, social, physical, and personal growth.  All parents are welcome and encouraged to participate in our Parents’ Association.
