Committee Description:  Ambassadors for new and prospective families

Volunteer Opportunities: Host the new families coming to the school with a welcome reception in August before school starts. Each committee member is assigned a few families to “take under their wing” and be available to them should any questions arise about school, and personally invites them to school events. In January, we help our admissions director host the end of the school tour for potential new families considering our school. Held in our media center, this reception is an informal time at the end of the tour for the parents to ask questions. For these receptions, committee members bring an appetizer and help greet new parents.
