Chapel

San Jose Episcopal is a worshipping community and we gather each Wednesday morning at 8:30 A.M. for chapel. Chapel is at the heart of our school and everyone looks forward to this special time of prayer, reflection, and celebration. Our worship is in the traditional Anglican style and welcomes and supports the spiritual development of all students from diverse faith traditions.  Eucharist is a regular part of our services and the service is led by an ordained priest. All students come to the altar rail, but are not required to take communion. Students choosing not to take communion receive a blessing instead.

Gathering for chapel each week is fundamental to our mission and purpose and a part of our religious instruction. Our chapel services are engaging, meaningful, and student-centered. Parents, parishioners, alumni, and other members of the community are always welcome to participate.

If you are interested in our school, we invite you to come and participate in one of our weekly chapel services and experience one of our most loved traditions. Spending time at a chapel service will provide great insight to the heart of our school.
